چکیده

In this paper, Performance of three-level integrated ac–dc converter with Hysteresis Current Control Technique is presented. The proposed converter combines with the operation of the boost power factor correction and the three-level dc–dc converter. By the implementation of Hysteresis Current controller, the switching sequence is under controlled condition and the output voltage of the proposed converter is effective. The converter is made to operate with two independent controllers which are combined in a single converter. Input controller does PFC and regulates dc bus, output controller regulates the output voltage while still allowing a single stage converter topology is used. Converter operation is explained and evaluated in terms of control strategy and total harmonic distortion of input current. Finally the converter with current mode control is compared with that of converter with voltage mode control techniques. Keywords—AC-DC Converters, Hysteresis Current Control (HCC) Technique, Three level Converters, PFC (Power Factor Correction), Single Stage Converters.

Matrix Converter Fed Brushless DC Motor Using Field Programmable Gate Array

Brushless DC motors (BLDC) are widely used in industrial areas. The BLDC motors are driven either by indirect ACAC converters or by direct AC-AC converters. Direct AC-AC converters i.e. matrix converters are used in this paper to drive the three phase BLDC motor and it eliminates the bulky DC link energy storage element. A matrix converter converts the AC power supply to an AC voltage of variab...
